Vertex Software certified to ISO 27001-2005 Vertex Software Pvt. Ltd., Pune, today announced that it is now ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certified for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). The organization was certified by Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC) and formally accredited by United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).

The assessment was conducted by lead auditors Mr. Rajendra Shirvekar and Mr. Ganesh Pai from BVC. Mr. Shirvekar noted "Vertex Software has been found compliant with the ISMS International standard ISO/IEC 27001:2005 with scope as "Management of Information Security System Applied to Design, Development & Maintenance Of Software Solutions".

Mr. Ajit Patil, CEO stated: "Vertex has always been committed to safeguarding information and intellectual property assets of our valued customers. Our continued efforts on information security have built a high level of confidence among them and being ISO 27001 certified reinforces that commitment.
